Originally
located in a renovated farmhouse, the Family Practice Center of Hyde Park
relocated to its new, expanded home in July 1998. The practice came
under the operation and management of the Institute in 1996 in
collaboration with Northern Dutchess Hospital. The Institute occupies 9,000 square feet of this 12,000 square
foot Medical Center. The remaining space is engaged by Northern Dutchess Hospital to provide dental care, laboratory services,
physical therapy and other ancillary service to be added in the
future. The Institute designed the space to accommodate six providers
at any time and a current annual patient visit volume of 2,000 patients per
month with 12 examination rooms, six consultation offices and 2 social
worker offices. Primary and specialty services provided by the
Institute include family practice, pediatric, internal medicine, podiatry,
infectious disease and urology.
