Through free home visits the Healthy Families and Healthy Start Programs promote parenting, enhance child health and development and encourage bonding and family relationships.
If you are expecting a baby and you live in Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, Beacon, Ellenville, or Kingston, please contact us. Referral to our program is easy and all our services are free! We’ll set up a meeting for one of our awesome team to come out to your home and meet with you! At this meeting we will talk about what is going on in your family’s life and provide resources that you may not have known about!
Some examples of information we can provide families with are:
- How to manage labor, creating a birth plan
- Newborn and infant care
- How children grow and learn
- How to play with your baby to encourage learning
- Breastfeeding information and support
Especially in this economy, families are struggling. Our Community Health Worker Program can assist with concerns such as:
- Housing
- Getting a job
- Going back to school
- Finances
- Relationships
- Mental Health
- Health & Safety
Let us be a part of this time in your life!
