Director
of Regulatory Compliance
Clinical
Affairs
Requirements:
Bachelor
of Arts Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.
Minimum (5) years of middle
management
supervisory experience required, at least three (3) of which were in a
comparable healthcare setting. Proficiency with computers including
Microsoft
and Windows Applications. Experience
hiring, evaluating, and disciplining staff. Knowledge
of JCAHO, Article 28 and
Article 31 Regulatory Regulations, Infection Control,
HIPPA and OSHA.
Responsibilities: Assure compliance with regulatory agency
standards and federal and state regulations regarding health
operations.
Direct regulatory compliance for Clinical
Operations at all levels within the organization. Plan, direct,
implement, and monitor
compliance with regulatory agencies for Clinical Operations.
Direct the development and implementation of
policies and procedures, which affect regulatory compliance of Clinical
Operations. Facilitate nursing research
activities for the organization. Prepare
reports on regulatory compliance of Clinical Operations for submission
to
regulatory agencies. Develop and
implement orientation for new employees on regulatory compliance.
Function as resource and support to all
nursing staff on nursing issues as needed.
Evaluate incident reports for clarity accuracy & completeness,
indicated plan of correction, and indicated reporting to regulatory
agencies
and insurance to committees. Provide Clinical
support to Sr. Vice President for Administration and others on review
and
monitoring of law suits. Maintain
professional competence through participation in continuing education
and other
appropriate learning experience by attending relevant workshops,
conferences,
and seminars.

Responsibilities:
Establish a trusting relationship with
at-risk families by
initiating and maintaining regular client contact, predominately in the
clients’ homes. Assist parents in
making
and attending appointments for doctors, social service agencies, etc. Act as a liaison between families and other
community agencies. Assure that all
family members have a primary care provider.
Familiarize self with available
community resources and how to access
services appropriate to needs of client.
Perform street and community
outreach for program promotion and case
finding.

Requirements:
High
school diploma or equivalent. Ability to
be non-judgmental, compassionate, empathetic and insightful, and to
establish
trusting relationships. Good
problem-solving skills; successful experience parenting and/or child
care
experience. Respect and sensitivity for
the needs and rights of others, including those with differing
cultural,
racial, sexual or ethnic identities.
Knowledge of community resources
and fluency in Spanish are both
preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must have access to a car and
have the
ability to travel
Responsibilities: Conducting
ongoing home visitation with families throughout Ulster County who are
pregnant
or have young children; Working with the family, using
our child development curriculum, to enhance the home environment for
the
physical and mental well being of children who are at risk of being
abused or
neglected; Assisting in the development of our fatherhood program;
Organizing and co-facilitating fathers’ groups; Educating staff
members about fatherhood curriculum; Conducting workshops about
engaging fathers; Familiarizing himself with local resources and
community
agencies in order to connect families with those services; Reaching out
to
families who have been unresponsive and trying to re-engage them in
services;
and Maintaining a flexible work
schedule, which may include early evening and some weekend hours.
Lead Patient Services
Representative
Family Health Center of New

Requirements:
High
school diploma or
GED is required, BA preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience as A
Patient
Service Representative required; ambulatory care setting a plus;
previous
health care and/or customer service experience required. Computer
skills including EPIC required;
ability to interact with staff and patients; Bi-lingual Spanish
preferred by
not required. Demonstrated supervisory,
organizational, and communication skills required.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and
supervise Patient Service
Representative. Prepare schedules and take
monthly supply inventory. Verify
providers schedule and perform as PSR as required to fill-in for
vacations,
leave time, lunch hours, and to assist PSR’s during heavy patient
sessions, etc. Perform as office fax
manager by insuring
that all incoming faxes are appropriately distributed, including
hospital
admission updates sent by Eric Spitzer and on call notes.
Assist Practice Administrator and
Assistant Practice Administrator with more advanced duties, when
requested.
Patient Services
Representative (Part-Time)
Family Practice Center

Requirements: HS Diploma
or GED required. Minimum 1 year customer
service experience required, Ambulatory care setting a plus.
Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not
required. Demonstrate organizational,
communication and computer skills required.
Responsibilities:
Interview patients for
registration;
enter patient’s data into computer; verify insurance information;
schedule
appointments; process patient intake; assist Administrator as required;
prepare
schedule and reconcile cash receipts.
Psychiatrist (Part Time)
Family Health Center
of Kingston
(Access Program)
Requirements: Board
Certified in
Psychiatry or Psychiatry fellowship in progress. Demonstrated
experience in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated
research
experience, preferred. HIV
experience preferred. Bi-lingual,
English/
Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities: Works
as part of an interdisciplinary team providing direct patient care,
consultation and supervision in a collaborative effort to identify and
treat
patients with depression.
Registered Nurse
Specialty Care Center
of Kingston
Requirements: New York State
Licensed
Registered Nurse with a minimum of
two years clinical experience in Ambulatory Care, Medical/Surgical or
Emergency
Room nursing preferred. Clinical skills
including demonstrated ability to administer vaccines, and pediatric
venipuncture skills. Computer proficiency required.
Experience working with pediatric
clients
preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities:
Deliver
quality nursing care to patients by
assisting providers with diagnostic procedures and treatment regimens
including
venipuncture and immunizations as well as phone and walk-in triage.
Provide
in-service training and mentor nursing staff.
