In addition to directing our Residency program and seeing
patients as a family physician, Dr. Josefski is an Adjunct
Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine,
New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, (NYCOM) and an Instructor
at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has worked
with the residency program and the Institute since 1989. He
serves on the Board of Directors of The Kingston Hospital
and its Foundation. Dr. Josefski is currently the Vice-Speaker
of the New York State Academy of Family Physicians and has
been active in statewide education for the last two decades.
With a particular interest in maternity care and sports medicine,
he serves as an ALSO faculty advisor and sideline physician
for the Kingston School system. He still actively plays baseball,
travelling to national competitions in his spare time.

She holds faculty status with NYCOM, and is Clinical Director
for the BS/DO seven-year program at SUNY New Paltz. She practices
and teaches Osteopathic Manipulation and also sees patients
at the Family Health Center of New Paltz.
Dr. Foy is also a Hudson Valley native, born in Poughkeepsie
NY. She completed her undergraduate education at Marist College,
also in Poughkeepsie NY, and remains active in alumni affairs.

the current site leader for the Mid-Hudson FPR in the FMEC
collaborative IMPLICIT project aimed at decreasing low birth
weight and preterm delivery. Her clinical interests also lie
in outpatient medicine, and she is the faculty-resident liaison
at the Kingston Family Practice site, where she maintains

Dr. Gessner served many years as an attending physician with
the Residency and as its Program Director for over a decade.
He and Dr. Weiss were instrumental in creating the Access
Program at the Kingston site. This practice is focused on
longitudinal care of adult patients with mental retardation
and developmental disabilities. .This focused practice complements
his interest in geriatrics. He serves as medical director
at a rural long term care facility and consultant medical
director at a critical access hospital; both facilities part
of the Alliance Hospitals with which the Residency is affiliated.
An avid skier, he is Medical Director of the Belleayre Ski
Center and an active member of the National Ski Patrol for
over thirty years. As well he is currently Medical Director
for the Hurley and West Hurley Fire Departments, has depth
of experience in sports medicine, and enjoys amateur radio,
sailing and hiking.

2000 Dr. Hambright moved to the Hudson Valley from her hometown
of Washington D.C. In 2003 she completed her Family Practice

as a resident preceptor. She currently is the Medical Director
of the Pine Grove site, where the Institute runs a medical
clinic in an outpatient mental health day-program. Dr. Hambright
and her colleagues in Ellenville are launching a teen health
clinic in Ellenville in spring 2010. She is currently an Adjunct

Institute's Woodstock, NY center which has been consolidated
into other Ulster county offices. He has special expertise
in the management of sexually transmitted diseases, diabetes

Amy is a
family therapist who joined the Mid-Hudson Family Practice Residency
in 2009 as Behavioral Science Coordinator. She specializes in
family systems medicine and has over 25 years of experience
teaching physicians in primary care and other subspecialties.
She currently is on the faculty of Beth Israel's Integrative
Medicine Program and teaches in Internal Medicine and the Cardiology
Fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is
also on the faculty of The Minuchin Center, where she conducts
workshops and seminars in family therapy, both nationally and
internationally.
