Human Subjects Protection Education

Principal investigators and all key staff on Institute research projects are required to complete education related to the protection of human research subjects.  Many Institute staff complete an online course offered by the National Cancer Institute which is available at the following web address:

This web site provides certificates of completion that can be downloaded.  This or other documentation of human subjects education must be submitted with all IRB applications.  All such documentation is kept on file in the IRB office and can be referred to in future applications.
